Alexander Borodin studies at the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire. At the Conservatoire Thatre, he has performed Geronimo (Il matrimonio segreto by Domenico Cimarosa), the Old Gypsy (Aleko by Sergei Rachmaninoff), and René (Iolanta by Pyotr Tchaikovsky). With the St Petersburg Chamber Opera, he has performed Dr Grenvil (La traviata by Giuseppe Verdi), Padre Augustin (Betrothal in a Monastery by Sergei Prokofiev). Since 2015, Alexander Borodin has been a trainee with the Mikhailovsky Opera. At the Mikhailovsky Theatre, he performs bass parts in the operas by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Ruggero Leoncavallo.
