Yulia Matochkina (Mezzo soprano)

Young Singers’ Competition (Volgograd, 2007, 2nd prize)
Born in Mirny (Arkhangelsk Region). In 2004 she graduated from
the Arkhangelsk Regional School of Music, conducting and choral department.
In 2009 she graduated from the vocal faculty of the Petrozavodsk
Glazunov State Conservatoire (class of V.A. Gladchenko). Since 2008 she
has been a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers.
