Olga Yakovleva (Mezzo soprano)
• Prize-winner at the Pavel Lisitsian Competition
(Vladikavkaz, 2006, 2nd prize) • Prize-winner at
the Bella voce international students’ competition
(Moscow, 2005)
Born in St Petersburg. In 2007 she graduated from
the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of senior
lecturer L.N. Fedotova). At the Conservatoire’s Opera Studio she
performed roles including Dido (Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas), Dorabella
(Mozart’s Cosн fan tutte), Cherubino (Mozart’s Le nozze
di Figaro), Lyubasha (Rimsky-Korsakov’s the Tsar’s
Bride) and Dolly (Vladislav Uspensky’s musical Anna Karenina).
Since 2005 she has been a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of
Young Singers.

Butterfly), Siegrune (Die Walkьre), Verdi’s Requiem and
Mozart’s Requiem.
She has toured to the USA and Hong Kong, and taken part in concerts
by the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers in Russia and abroad.
