Kamil Yangurazov (Dancer)
Born in Ufa. Graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in
2006. Joined the Mariinsky Ballet Company the same year.
His repertoire includes: Le
Corsaire (Birbanto, “Forban”); Swan Lake (Spanish Dance,
Hungarian Dance, Mazurka); Raymonda (Panaderos); Don
Quixote (Fandango); Spartacus (Gannicus) – choreography by
Leonid Yakobson, The Fountain of Bakhchisarai (Youths, Cracovienne);
La Valse – choreography by George Balanchine; Alexei
Ratmansky's The Little Humpbacked Horse (Horses, Sea Horses) and
Cinderella (Spring); Donvena Pandoursky's The Magic Nut
(Polish Grooms), Metaphysics (Coloured Line) and Le Sacre du
printemps (Elf); and dances in the opera Ruslan and Lyudmila
(Lezghinka).
Appeared in premieres of the ballets The Little Humpbacked Horse by
Rodion Shchedrin with choreography by Alexei Ratmansky (Horses, Seahorses) and
Spartacus with choreography by Leonid Yakobson (Gannicus).
Has toured with the Mariinsky Ballet Company to Austria, Italy, the USA,
China and Japan
