One-act ballet “Vacancy” choreography by Konstantin Keikhel will be premiered in the first part of the evening.
Directed by Konstantin Keykhel - a young talented choreographer, whose name quickly became popular in the sphere of modern ballet. Graduate of the Ballet Academy Vaganova most of his creations staged in Yekaterinburg, that did not stop him from becoming a winner of many awards.
Among his ballets are "The Exhibition", presented at the Context festival of Diana Vishneva, "Collision", "Vacancy", "The Path of Charon", the play "Homo Ludens"; staging for students of the Academy of Vaganova "Theme and Variations", "Rendezvous", "Two Voices", "Vltava", "Letter".
Now Konstantin teaches modern ballet at the St. Petersburg Academy of Eifman Ballet. The beginning choreographer has already proved himself with his productions, which means that a new star has appeared in the ballet, whose creations must be seen. His one-act ballets turn feelings and fantasies into actions, without losing their ephemerality.
The second part flashes with the stars of the St. Petersburg Ballet and a specially prepared program consists of masterpieces of modern and classical choreography.
