Stanislav Shvets (Bass)
Stanislav Shvets was born in Sverdlovsk, graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory (training course of Professor P. Gluboky). He is the winner of the Belvedere International Vocal Competition (Austria, 1994), the Rimsky-Korsakov International Competition (Saint-Petersburg, 1996). Stanislav made his debut in 1997 on the stage of the Irish Opera. He has been collaborating with Helikon-Opera since 2006. He is a guest soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre (Saint-Petersburg). He appeared on the stages of the Bolshoi Theatre, the Mariinsky Theatre (Saint-Petersburg), the Paris Opera (France), the San-Francisco Opera (USA), the Berlin State Opera and the Frankfurt Opera (Germany), the Monte-Carlo Opera (Monaco), the Canadian Opera, the Teatre del Liceu (Spain), the Chile Opera. He took part in the festivals in Saltsburg (Austria) and the Glyndebourne (Great Britain). During 17 years Stanislav was working with a pianist and concertmaster V. Chachava.
He collaborated with such conductors as L. Maazel, V. Gergiev, M. Pletnev, G. Rozhdestvensky, V. Yurovsky, G. Conlon, J. López-Cobos, E. Kolobov, V. Carignani and T. Currentzis.
