On February 11, the Hermitage Theater will host an evening of ballets by Israeli choreographer Roy Assaf performed by ballet soloists of the Mikhailovsky Theater.
In 2017, a young choreographer from Tel Aviv, at the initiative of the Oleg Karavaichuk Foundation, created a unique “Gamma” ballet to the music of Petersburg genius, the first on the theatre stage. The premiere of the ballet "Gamma" performed by a trio of soloists of the Mikhailovsky Theater.
In the second part, to the Day of All Lovers, the Russian Premiere of the renowned duet Roy Assaf to music "Six Years Later" will be performed by the premieres of the Mikhailovsky Theater - Honored Artist of Russia Irina Perrin and Marat Shemiunov. The basis of the musical composition is Beethoven’s famous Moonlight Sonata, which the choreographer gives the dance to two performers. They pray, quarrel, reconcile and love each other under the cold shower of the unexpected track of the Marmelade band of the 70s and Handel's divine prelude of the 18th century.
