Born in St Petersburg.
Graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy (class of Prof. Vladilen Semenov).
Joined the Mariinsky Theatre in 1995 and became a Principal Dancer in 1997.
Won the Vaganova-Prix (St Petersburg, 1995).
Won the Baltika Prize in 1998.
Won the St Petersburg Golden Sophit theatrical prize in 2000.
Awarded the Soul of Dance prize of the Ballet magazine (nominated as a "Rising Star", 2000).
