Anthony Bonamici was born in 1975 in the city of Livonia, State Michigan, USA. Still a child, studying with Professor Donald Morlock, Anthony was giving solo concerts, performed with orchestras and took part in international competitions (piano and composition). After school graduation, Anthony entered the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory where he was student of Professor N. Schtarkman. In 1999, he transferred to the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory and in 2001 he graduated from the piano department (Professor E. Shishko's class). In 2004, Anthony Bonamici graduated from the composition department of SPbGK headed by Professor B. Tishchenko. Presently, Anthony is actively engaged in composition; in 2008, premiere of his vocal cycle In Anticipation after A. Block's poetry took place in the Maly Hall of the St Petersburg Conservatory. Anthony Bonamici is also engaged in teaching activities: he teaches classes of piano and chamber ensembles at the Hertsen State Pedagogical University.
